As they've been incarcerated, Haru's relinquished his bowl of cereal and goes to Makoto to pout about it.
Makoto's just in the middle of shoveling another spoonful of cereal into his mouth when Haru sits down. He's quiet enough and sits to Makoto's left, as to not disturb the taller swimmer from his breakfast. But given the small pout on his face, Haru isn't the happiest of campers.
"Good morning, Haru," Makoto's gentle voice greets him, and he glances over to see that warm smile that sends an odd heat through his chest. Makoto just looks relieved to see him. Even in this disgusting orange, surrounded by unhappy beige walls and horrid tin tables, he just seems happy. Definitely more relieved; Haru can tell. "I'm glad you decided to come over here."
Haru nods. He is too, honestly. After his past interaction, he feels he should have come over here first. He glances over at him, and his stomach is already displeased with his choices.
When he realizes he's being too quiet, when he notices Makoto's inquisitive eyes watching him gain, he turns his face away to explain.
"This one guy took my cereal."
The only explanation he had. Makoto gasps, and Haru sighs softly, shaking his head. "It's fine."
"No, it's not!" Makoto protests, frowning. "Here, you can share mine, okay? You might as well eat while we're here." Without waiting for a response, he pushes the bowl closer, and holds up a spoonful. Originally, the thought of letting Haru take a spoonful of his own crosses his mind, but he changes it last minute.
Haru doesn't object. Leaning over, he takes the bite and pushes the bowl back. After he finishes chewing, he looks up at him. "I'm not ha--"
And Makoto just shoved another spoonful in there, then took one himself. He smiles a toothless smile, already preparing another spoonful. There's no escaping it now.
They are super gay.
